Hi guys, Are there any websites or documentation that you know of that describe how to incorporate in Lebanon, as well as the various legal aspects such as having mutiple founders, raising funds, diluting equity, etc..? Does Lebanon even have a legal framework for dealing with the various financial and legal issues a web startup has to go through in its lifetime? Thanks in advance, Fadi |

Personally I'm not aware of any websites that do. If there are any, I'd like to know which ones. My 2 cents here is to seek advice from a lawyer who has dealt with similar cases... Good luck with ur endeavors! |

I found one source at the IDAL (Investment Development Authority of Lebanon), where they summarise incorporation information in an english-language PDF document. http://www.idal.com.lb/WhyLebanon.aspx?ID=63 There are grammatical and syntax errors in the file, so it's a bit embarrassing as a Lebanese to link to it :-( Another link from a law firm's website: |

I would also check with BADER. They might have something, and if they don't, this would probably incite them to get something together. Otherwise, let me know if you want to get in touch with a lawyer specialized in these things. |
