What's the difference between bootstrapping and seed funding ? Not sure about the technical terms, also which one is better ?

Simply put: bootstrapping = using your own money, and you get to keep your equity. Also lookup FFF (family, friend and fools) seed funding = usually involving angel investment, in exchange for some equity

If you don't have enough money saved up, you may not be able to bootstrap, and would need to look at other options; seed funding is one of those options.
