Many of us have ideas and are looking for a partner with complementary skills to start a venture with. Many others do not have an idea, but are also looking for a partner with complementary skills to start a venture with.

I am wondering if there if a place for those two types of people to meet and talk? or if we could come up with the digital equivalent of a "Speed Networking" exercise and if people would be interested in participating!

Have you tried ArabCrunch.NET? If you haven't yet, please try it and share it with entrepreneurs you know, i have no-relations with it but the more entrepreneurs use it, the more beneficial it would be!

If you need an invitation please mail me with your email address at: xhtml@live.com

Thanks, Ashraf! Will check it out and will let you know about the invitation. I asked this question because I have a couple of ideas, and I am looking for a partner and/or I am happy to work with other people on their ideas, and I thought this would be the perfect place for this. Oh well!

You welcome Des! I'm now starting-up with my ideas, and I really need help at least with the business stuff, that's why I've joined ArabCrunch, to get social with other entrepreneurs. And I actually don't know why people do vote my answer down, they might be considering my answer as spam!

And yes I'll be very happy if YallaStartup starts a community for entrepreneurs! Did you find another good place to meet others?

I went back to my (international) network of friends who are serving as a sounding board and as advisors mostly. Not ideal, as I was looking for someone local to potentially explore a partnership with. Will find that person, eventually, one way or another!

As for the votes down, I am guessing the voter didn't quite understand the question, doesn't quite understand or adhere to the collaboration model. Not exactly sure and it is probably irrelevant ;-)

It's cool you've got your international network of friends or entrepreneurs! I - as I live in Jordan - don't have great realations with this type of people. I can say I've got some in the MENA region in general but not too much in Jordan. Anyway, I'm staying here asking and answering until I reach the best state I can. And yeah about voters am sure about that. Thanks for your time! ;)
