How can I stop my emails going to spam

It's a very hard question and task, dealing with emails means dealing with many Spam filters especially the aggressive Gmail filter.

You have two choices:

• Goes to a company that do this task like MailChimp
• Send emails from your server, less than 100 email at once, then another 100 after some time (an hour). You may write a cron for executing this job. Also, for good tips read Tips For Sending Valid E-mails From Websites

You have to worry about one point very carefully, providing unsubscribe button with one-click unsubscribtion, so users won't mark you as spam, if they do it's a very very hard task to get your hands clean and sending many emails to big companies asking them to remove you from Spam list and believe me it takes months to remove you from Spam lists.

If you're using your own mail server (something like Postfix) then you have to play around with each email provider to make it a trusted one.

Unless you go through the instructions on the links above you will face a problem with your emails being rejected by the servers.

Those instructions should include publishing SPF record for your domain and signing a DomainKey
