I believe that what you are providing is kind of unique since it is a subscription based service, so it's like paid forum or paid area of a portal. Since such products are very difficult to price by comparing to others and because the quality of each product is based on its members, specially "A-List" members; I think you should be holding a survey on how much your audience are willing to pay. Some other points you should take into consideration, who are the people you are targeting? business people, students, housewives, etc... this factor plays a major role in the pricing strategy of your product. The type of your service, some subscription services aim to go virally and spread the whole market, some others aim to target certain kind or type of people. I think you should start with the survey, it will give you a good indication. |

It's best to look at other products in the market. How does your competition price? Also, what would you be willing to pay for your product, if you were an end user? |

You should do some research on other competitor software. How do they price their solution? But also take into consideration the features that offered in their solution in comparison to that in your product. This will play a huge impact on how you should price the product. You can also do some research on some blogs and forums that mention your competitors. You will be surprise at how many people could comment on the features presented in the solution versus its price. |
