i am a web deloper with an idea that i would love to transfer into profit , i am just not sure where to start with , and whom to ask for an advice ... usually how many & what type of emolpyees do i need to run let's say an online shop ??and what departments will i have ?? and usually what type of studies is responisible for that kinds of planning ?? a person who studied management ?? or business?? or ?? ... and is there and special qualification that should excist in that person ??!!! i was searching trying to find some articles about for exmaple how many departments are there in Amaozn head quarter , and then how many departments are in its branches like : amazon.fr or amazon.de .. have you ever read anything about that !!(amazon or any big websites business structure ... i always thought that business students are playing around the campus all the time :D but GOSH that stuff are more serious than the idea itself !! :S |

Hey Ahmad, In my opinion the success of Amazon and Ebay and other websites is mainly related to the type of system that they are working on and he trust that they build it with their pages visitors. And in these days Their system became the standard online ecommerce system for safe secure trading. so you need people familiar in this kind of systems. Online websites has their own financial programs and systems so you dont need an accounting departement , you just need a person who has a minimun of sales and accounting knowledge. You might need a marketing and online advertising person. and for sure administration and costumer survices department. The type of terms and conditions are related to your market type/location/segments. But do not build a product listing and promoting website (the website were people list their product with their phone number or emails, and all the trading happened direct between seller and buyer because your website will be just another listing website and you will only depend on the advertisement. and this wont work for the long term. because there is a different between creating an online market and creating a listing page.
