I am thinking of creating a website that targets Arab consumers in the US and Europe that is ad sponsored. Who are the known US and European advertisers interesting in targeting this group? How do I get to them? Are there ad networks that specialize in this kind of thing? Thanks |

Salam Amir, Actually no need to target the clients directly, all what you need is to reach the US Ad networks who are looking for Middle East North Africa audience to your website. Also having one website is not feasible for these advertisers to place their Ads at your website. My advice to you to focus on your website quality content & experience to solidify your MENA traffic and after reaching the scale that you can sell Ads join one of the international or regional Ad networks, this is safer monetization strategy for your business than to bring advertisers directly. I think the MENA advertising is a huge and poses new challenges to the advertising industry. (Un)fortunately, there is little data on the subject. Despite this, I think that you could leverage this as an opportunity for you. Maybe you could start blogging about this subject and gathering data of your own. Just like how the internet is filled with SEO and Social Media experts, nobody really understands the MENA online advertising space. If you make yourself knowledgeable in the field, raising money and getting business to follow you won't be an issue at all. I'd definitely subscribe to a blog on the subject. |
