We've been looking at a lot of options with regard to this project - from applying for seed funding to looking at how we can funnel money from our existing clients into the design and development of a mobile and online education idea that we've been working on for a few months now. So - what we're going to do is a combination of both of those things alongside this - we're looking to bring in a developer or developers as equity partners in this project. We don't have a huge amount of money to invest in it at the start - however, we do have some - so there will be capacity to pay some salary/money to the right developer or developers. What we're looking for is someone or two or three people who are interested in mobile apps and mobile education. We're looking to build a pretty robust database/back end which will power the app along with a really good looking iPhone/Android front end (and potentially Nokia and Blackberry depending on the developer's background or availability of funding to get these developed). We've already had interest from several potential partners - from those who will provide content to those who will provide the secret ingredient that powers this platform. We've spoken to some of the brightest minds in the educational field all around the world, and the reaction to our concept has been overwhelmingly positive. This is something that has huge potential for venture funding once it's up and running. More importantly, it has the potential to make a lot of money for anyone involved in the project from the early stages. So if you're a developer and you'd like to know more, please get in touch. If you're an intrigued seed stage investor, feel free to connect as well. This isn't a joke or a waste of time - we genuinely are working on a disruptive business that has serious game changing potential in the educational sphere. We have European investors who love the concept and the existing prototype, but I'd like to see if we can build something more robust as a team before having to consider outside funding. Anyway, that's my pitch. If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you. I'm sure you can understand why I'm not talking a whole lot about the idea, but I will explain the concept to any interested parties. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch. |
